    Improvement of Structure and Process for Optical and Electrical Hybrid Cables in 5G Base Station

    • In order to solve the problem that cable core is not rounded in the production of optical and electrical hybrid cables, structure and stranding process of bow-type optical cables were improved.Results showed that improved optical and electrical hybrid cables were rounded and compact, diameter of the core was reduced, and outer diameter of the cables were reduced from7.8 mm to 7.5 mm under the same sheath thickness, which could save the amount of sheath material.
